How long is the contraceptive protection weakened when the Ginoring disc is removed for 15 hours in week 1 of the cycle? Can irregular spotting occur?
Good morning, due to the procedure I had to remove the ginoring contraceptive ring for 15 hours in 1 week of use. I haven't had sex before, so I'm not afraid. However, can there be spotting or other inconveniences like no withdrawal bleeding or contraception being impaired for the rest of the cycle (except for the first 7 days where I know it will be weakened)? Thank you very much in advance

If the Ginoring disc remains outside the vagina for 15 hours 1 . During the week of use, apply additional protection for 7 consecutive days. After 7 days of proper use of the disc, contraceptive protection is restored.
Irregular spotting may occur until the end of the cycle.
