Can I transport a contraceptive puck if I am going on holiday to a warm country?
Good morning. I'm going to Turkey. Between removing the puck and inserting a new one, I have an outlet. How to transport the puck safely? Is it enough to buy an insulating bag at a pharmacy? Can transporting the disc just like that in a package to a warm country affect its operation?

If you do not want to transport the disc, you can skip the 7-day break for withdrawal bleeding in this cycle and immediately after removing this disc apply a new one for the next 3 weeks. You can also safely carry the puck in checked or carry-on baggage. It should be in the original packaging along with the leaflet. The disc can be stored at temperatures up to 30 ° C, so transport should not harm it - it is important that it is not exposed to direct sunlight and remains in the original packaging.
