Hello, I did beta hcg on Tuesday, the result is 1.2, I repeated today after 48 hours and it rose to 3.2. Could this mean an early pregnancy? Best regards!

It is difficult to answer unequivocally - small fluctuations in the result may remain within the range of laboratory error. According to the standard of most laboratories, pregnancy is indicated by the concentration of chorionic gonadotropin above 5 mIU / ml (the range of the norm appropriate for your laboratory should be given on the result). In your case, both values are lower than 5. In the case of pregnancy, the level of beta hCG is higher than the stated norm and increases exponentially, doubling its value after approximately every 24 hours. You did not write at what point in the cycle you performed the test. The test - wet or blood - is more reliable if it is performed at the right interval from the moment of potential fertilization. Pregnancy is also indicated by the absence of menstruation at the expected date.
