Hello. I pulled the Polaring disc out to intercourse on the 12th day of its use and forgot to put it back in. I put it in after about 9 hours. Can the intercourse that took place cause pregnancy or pregnancy? It's about that particular ratio where I pulled out the puck.

If the Polaring disc was outside the vagina for 9 hours in the 2nd week of use (on day 12), its contraceptive efficacy may have decreased. Then the disc should be left in the vagina continuously for at least 7 consecutive days. An additional method of contraception should be used in these following days. The description provided by the manufacturer shows that the intercourse was burdened with a relatively small risk of pregnancy.
