Do I need to correct my prescription if I have "Aurora" instead of "Aurora GmbH Deutschland" on it?

I have a question, because my neurologist wrote me a prescription for Cannabis flos THC 20%, CBD 1%, but she wrote only 'Aurora', not Aurora GmbH Deutschland, is the prescription correct or would it need to be corrected? Best regards

Do@Mateusz (Mat2b): Thank you for your message. I also consulted several pharmacy managers and opinions are divided. If it is a paper prescription, according to some - it does not matter much whether there is a note "GmbH Deutschland". They treat dried fruit as a raw material for a pharmacy recipe (i.e. as it is actually registered) and pay only attention to the concentrations of THC and CBD cannabinoids. They spend the one they have in stock in the pharmacy. If it is an e-prescription - here a specific product from the pool of registered products is automatically assigned, i.e. the doctor issuing the e-prescription should choose the appropriate product in accordance with the registration - here the note "Aurora" vs "GmbH Deutschland" is important. Then the pharmacist will be able to "download" a specific product from the state of his pharmacy, according to the prescription.

Mrs. Angelica, I received information from the pharmacist that the new varieties (Delahaze and Pink Kush) will be registered under the name "Aurora" without the note "GmbH Deutschland" and this name must be on the prescription. This contrasts quite well with your answer to the freedom of writing. Hence my question:) : does the entry on the prescription: "Aurora GmbH Deutschland" applies only to older varieties, and "Aurora" only to two new varieties (Delahaze and Pink Kush).

No. Aurora without GMBH and the one from GMBH are two different varieties.

There should be no problems with the implementation of such a recipe. Here you can check the availability of raw material and make a reservation: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/100243/cannabis-flos-thc-20-cbd-1-aurora-marihuana-lecznicza-medyczna/apteki

User questions and answers that provide feedback about products are not verified for the purchase or use of the product. Companies often order anonymous comments to form positive opinions about their products, or negative ones about competitors. Therefore, be guided by the information in the pharmacists' responses in the first place.
