Can I reduce the dose of Lamotrix if I feel unwell after it?

I started another dose 2 days ago, 50mg in the morning and 50mg at night. I started with 0.25 mg only for the night, and on the second dose (0.25 mg in the morning and at night) I felt the best. Now I have the impression that I have a lot of side effects, I feel worse since I started the 3rd dose. Can I start after these 2 days of the fourth dose to come back for 3 and after another two weeks for the second dose, when I felt the best?
