Will the pregnancy test show a normal result after a week?
During intercourse at the time of ejaculation, the condom broke. The partner was before the planned period (on the day of intercourse she was already after ovulation). After 2/3 hours, she took an escapelle tablet. On Thursday mini week after these events, virtually none of the reported side effects occurred. Did the pill not work? There are only pains in the lower abdomen and the abdomen itself. Will the pregnancy test show a normal result after a week?

Quickly applied, the Escapelle tablet is effective in preventing pregnancy, although this effectiveness is not 100%. Side effects may or may not occur. Their appearance does not testify either to the effectiveness of the tablet or its absence - this is an individual reaction of the body to the use of a remedy affecting the endocrine system. In my opinion, performing a pregnancy test one week after intercourse will not allow you to get a fully reliable result. Some very sensitive tests or laboratory determination of chorionic gonadotropin allow for quick detection of potential pregnancy and you can try to perform them, for example, after 10 days of intercourse. However, in my opinion, it is best to do them after about 14 days after intercourse.
