How to deal with the side effects of Saxenda (headache, nausea, tiredness, drowsiness, watery eyes) ?

Good morning Since I take injections I feel several side effects (headaches, nausea, fatigue, drowsiness, tearing of feeling). While headaches or nausea I see that they often appear as an adverse reaction of this fear, watery eyes do not appear anywhere. How to deal with it? Almost all the time tears fall from my eyes and it is very bothersome.

Saxenda, like all medicines, can cause side effects, but this does not mean that they will affect everyone. The characteristics of the medicinal product indicate that the side effects occurring in patients are, m.in, those you mentioned, i.e. headaches, nausea, as well as insomnia in the first 3 months of treatment, or malaise. However, as you mentioned, watery eyes are not listed as an adverse reaction, however, it may be the result of an allergic reaction not necessarily related to Saxenda therapy. In the case of persistent watery eyes, and additionally occurring itching and redness, over-the-counter eye drops may be helpful to alleviate these symptoms. I enclose a link to the article in which you will find an overview of such preparations in pharmacies and you will be able to order the right one with home delivery: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/krople-do-oczu-na-alergie https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/krople-do-oczu In addition, an article on moisturizing drops: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jakie-nawilzajace-krople-do-oczu-wybrac-analiza I encourage you to report your side effects of Saxenda. Reporting side effects allows you to increase control over the medicines currently available on the market.
