Is it normal in depression for someone to stop listening to music because of this disease? I listen to very little music now, and I used to be able to do it all the time... Music gives me almost no pleasure anymore, and it used to be my passion. When I try to listen to songs, I don't like any of them:(

Yes, with a psychiatrist and psychologist. And in about a year I'm going to see a psychotherapist

Unfortunately, yes - not wanting to listen to music can be one of the symptoms of depression. Many people experience a loss of interest or pleasure in activities that previously gave them joy. This is known as anhedonia and is one of the main symptoms of depression. Music is often associated with emotions, pleasure and entertainment. However, during depression, a person may experience a decrease in emotions, overwhelm, as well as a loss of interest in many things, including music. Have you consulted a doctor about this? Have appropriate psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy been ordered? If not - it would be good to consult with someone.
