As a pharmacist, I can only give you general information. In general, shingles vaccinations are usually recommended for people who have had shingles in the past, even if they have already had it. However, before you decide to get vaccinated against shingles (herpes zoster), you should consult your doctor about it.
People in their 75s may be particularly susceptible to complications from shingles, so it's worth discussing the fact that you've had it before with your doctor.
