PLEASE REPLY I inserted the first vaginal disc on day 36 of the cycle because I have irregular and long cycles. Am I fully protected from the second disc? Will contraception be effective in later cycles if I did not put it in day 1 of the cycle?

In the case of a vaginal disc, it is usually recommended to insert it during the first days of the cycle (preferably on the first day of menstruation) to provide immediate protection against pregnancy. If the disc is inserted later in the cycle, it is important to use an additional method of contraception, such as condoms, for the first 7 days. This will not affect the effectiveness of contraception in subsequent cycles.
