How quickly can you notice the effects of Proursan? I take Proursan less than a month (I have to take 3 months). In the meantime, I was treating helicobacter. More than a week after finishing the antibiotic everything was fine, and for a few days I feel burning again, is this normal?

Proursan is a medicine indicated for use in the dissolution of cholesterol gallstones and in the symptomatic treatment of primary biliary cirrhosis. The time needed to dissolve the stones is from 6 - 24 months. If Proursan is used for the symptomatic treatment of primary biliary cirrhosis, its effectiveness is assessed when liver parameters improve, usually after the first 3 months of treatment. The sensation of burning may be caused by antibiotic therapy, which has violated the microflora of the gastrointestinal tract or lack of effectiveness of treatment. To accurately determine the cause of the burning sensation, you should report it to your doctor. All the more so if this symptom does not go away or intensifies.
