Panic attacks when using escitalopram - is it normal?

It is assumed that usually the full effect of escitalopram is achieved 2-4 weeks after the start of treatment. The lack of significant improvement within the first month of using the drug does not always have to be a cause for concern. Nevertheless, you should tell your doctor about the occurrence of a panic attack during the follow-up visit, especially if it is not a single episode.
