Hello, I would like to know if after a break of 7 days not taking antidepressants Dutilox can relieve withdrawal symptoms? I took Dutilox for 2 months every day at a dose of 30 mg (one tablet), but I have already finished 2 packages and I have a visit to the psyche in a week during this time I will not take medication, and I do not know whether the psychiatrist will prescribe me another or finish the drug therapy. Because it was supposed to be a short therapy to calm the "head" and "thoughts".

Any modifications in therapy, including discontinuation of the drug, should be made after consultation with the attending physician acquainted in detail with your state of health. We wrote more about it here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-jak-i-kiedy-mozna-odstawic-leki Discontinuation of Dutilox should only take place on the doctor's instructions and under his strict supervision. Withdrawal from therapy requires a gradual reduction of the dose, and the full process of termination of therapy should be no less than 2 weeks. After discontinuation of the drug, side effects may occur, especially if the termination of therapy proceeded too radically. The so-called withdrawal symptoms include, m.in: dizziness, sensory disturbances, sleep disorders (such as insomnia or increased dreams), fatigue, drowsiness, agitation, anxiety, nausea and/or vomiting, tremor, headache, irritability, diarrhea, excessive sweating. The above symptoms should usually disappear within a few days of the end of taking the preparation. I enclose additional information about the drug Dutilox - prescription products can be booked at WherePoLek and collected stationary upon presentation of the prescription: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/91014/dutilox-kapsulki/apteki I also enclose information about the possibility of using teleconsultation: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja
