Cough in a child - how to treat?

For cough in a child, you can use cough suppressive or expectorant drugs - in the form of syrups, tablets, tablets to dissolve or oral drops. In many cases, inhalations (e.g. from saline, hyaluronic acid solution or prescription steroid drugs) may also work. For dry cough, you can use medicines, e.g. with butamirate or dextromethorphan. In wet cough, drugs with expectorant and secretion thinning effects, e.g. with ambroxol, bromhexine or ivy extract, will be used.
