Venereal diseases (sexually transmitted)

Venereal diseases, i.e. sexually transmitted diseases, are diseases that we can get infected, m.in through sexual contact with an infected person. The most common are, m.in, syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, trichomoniasis, candidiasis or genital herpes. In order to diagnose venereal disease, it is necessary to consult a gynecologist-venereologist, and the treatment consists, m.in, in the use of antiviral drugs or antibiotics. It is also important to maintain proper personal hygiene.
