What will happen as a contraceptive disc (ring) I will put on a week later, that is, after menstruation. Will it then just not work?

If you put on a contraceptive ring after menstruation on a different day than indicated (between the 1st and 5th day of the cycle), you will need to use additional protection for the whole 3 weeks, e.g. with a condom. During the 7-day break, withdrawal bleeding should occur. In the next cycle, after putting on a new disc, you are already protected.
