Good morning, I have been using hormonal contraception for 5 years. I happened to skip the tablet on the first day after a 7-day break. I was supposed to take it on Wednesday at 8 p.m., and I didn't take it until Thursday at 5 a.m. Can I continue to use the tablets according to the scheme? If I had sex on the second day of a 7-day break, should I consider pregnancy? Best regards

If you take the 1st tablet of Axia with a 9-hour delay, the contraceptive protection of the medicine is not reduced. The next tablets should be taken at a fixed time, i.e. at 20.00. We wrote more about how to use contraception correctly in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje I enclose a link to check the availability of Axia and make a reservation at the pharmacy of your choice: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/92366/axia-tabletki-powlekane/apteki
