Should cheese and butter also be dispensed with during treatment with Pylera?

Hello, I found information that during treatment with Pylera you should not consume dairy products such as milk or yogurt, but does this also apply to cheese and butter? And the second question: can I use Pylera together with Chronada? Thank you in advance for your reply.

Yes, dietary restrictions apply when using Pylera. Milk and dairy products should be stopped for treatment with Pylera because they inhibit the antibacterial effect of the medicine. This also applies to yellow cheese, because it is rich in calcium (876mg calcium / 100g). Butter seems to be acceptable, because it contains only 24mg of calcium / 100g. Other, additional recommendations may result from the diet recommended by a doctor or dietitian. The gdziepolek.pl service also allows you to obtain a teleconsultation with the appropriate specialist: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-dietetykiem Pylera contains 3 active substances: potassium-bismuth citrate, metronidazole and tetracycline hydrochloride. Tetracycline and metronidazole are antibiotics. Potassium-bismuth citrate supports antibiotics in the treatment of infection. There are no contraindications to the simultaneous use of Chronada and Pyler, listed in the question. Here you can check the availability of the drug in the pharmacy and make a reservation. Upon receipt of the order, you will need to present a prescription: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/65474/pylera-kapsulki/apteki
