What to do if stomach pain persists despite the use of medication?

Two weeks ago I finished a course of antibiotics for helikobacter. At the doctor's visit I was advised to continue Texibax for 4 weeks plus Debutir additionally takes probiotics. Despite the passage of time, I still feel stomach pains after a meal. Will the ailments end after choosing medication? Is it normal for the pain to last so long despite taking medication? Thank you in advance for your reply 🙏

In the event that stomach pain persists, despite the use of medication, I encourage you to renew the consultation with your doctor. You can also use the teleadvice offered, m.in. by the portal Gdziepolek.pl: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja Due to the fact that the symptoms you feel can be both side effects of the therapy and the disease itself, the appropriate course of action would now be to have another gastrological consultation and possibly repeat the test for Helicobacter pylori, because it is not certain whether the treatment was successful. We wrote about the time after which the effect of treatment of Helicobacter pylori infection is visible in the opinion: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/opinie-i-pytania/23731/pylera-po-jakim-czasie-od-zakonczenia-leczenia-widoczny-jest-efekt-terapii-lekiem-pylera
