Valtricom and Valsacor are not combined at the same time unless your doctor tells you otherwise. Valtricon is a three-component drug: amlodipine, valsartan and hydrochlorothiazide. Valsacor contains only valsartan. As you can see, both medicines contain the same active substance. Medicines can be taken together only if they have been prescribed by one doctor, or if the doctors prescribing these preparations have been informed about what other medicines the patient is already taking, what additional medical conditions he suffers from and only in such a combination (order) as follows from these recommendations. Otherwise, such treatment may not be safe. The use of both drugs will lead to more valsartan in the body, it is not always beneficial - it can even be dangerous. If medicines have been prescribed by different doctors, consultation with them is necessary to determine whether these medicines can be used at the same time. If so, your doctor may make other recommendations on how to use them. If the medication has been prescribed by one doctor, please follow the dosage regimen.
