To the best of my knowledge, the sources do not indicate that there is a clinically relevant interaction between these drugs. However, the manufacturer of Polfilin in the Summary of Product Characteristics indicates that high doses of intravenous pentoxifylline may in rare cases increase the lowering effect of blood glucose (sugar). This has not been observed after oral administration (tablets). In my opinion, despite everything, it is worth monitoring the sugar level more often in such a situation using a glucometer.
