Recently (in November) I have been diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome. I take spironol in the morning and metformax in the evening. However, I have not had a period for two months, I heard that inositol can help with this. Can I take inositol without consulting a doctor? If so, in what doses and when to take it so that it does not react with spironol and metformax?

In my opinion, there are no contraindications to the inclusion of inositol supplementation, but it will be best to inform the attending physician. A good choice will be a preparation containing both forms of inositol, i.e. myo-inositol and D-chiro-inositol, e.g. Ovarin. In the case of this preparation, you should take two tablets a day - preferably with food, e.g. one tablet with breakfast and the other with dinner. On our portal you can compare prices of Ovarin in online pharmacies and place an order with home delivery or collection at the pharmacy: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/90319/ovarin-tabletki/apteki
Let me add that I have thyroid disease, specifically hashimoto and in the morning on an empty stomach I take letrox
