Does vinpocetine have an anti-dopamine effect?

Hello, I wanted to ask if vinpocetine has anti-dopamine effects? I have been taking vinpocetine for 3 months at 30 mg per day for better memory, but I feel like my motivation and mood are deteriorating. The only question is whether such side effects are possible? This medicine was prescribed to me by a member of my family who is a dentist. However, I set the optimal dosage for myself, of course by mutual agreement. In a week I finish the treatment. Please hint.

The documentation of vinpocetine drugs does not indicate that this substance causes - intentionally or as an adverse effect - anti-dopamine effects or has an effect on mood. The drug is generally well tolerated and possible side effects are uncommon, rare or very rare. On the part of the nervous system, headaches were most often observed. However, you can find information that vinpocetine affects the transmission of norepinephrine and serotonin, and that vinpocetine, depending on the concentration, inhibits sodium (Na+) and calcium (Ca+) channels as well as NMDA and AMPA receptors. However, as I mentioned - there was no development of depression or deterioration of motivation. On the contrary, the opposite would be expected. I enclose additional information about vinpocetine: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/substancje/winpocetyna If you suspect an adverse reaction, I enclose a helpful article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane The right specialist in case of memory problems that may result from medical conditions would be a neurologist. Mood problems are dealt with by a psychiatrist.
