Prophylactic use of inhaled steroid drugs is not recommended. They have specific indications for use, and their unnecessary use will not improve health, and may be associated with side effects. Indications for the use of inhaled drugs with budesonide are: subglottic laryngitis, bronchial asthma and exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. If the child has not been diagnosed with any of these diseases and the medicine has not been prescribed by a doctor outside of these indications, it should not be administered. In the case of subfebrile condition, which significantly affects the comfort of the child, an antipyretic can be used, e.g. with paracetamol: Pedicetamol: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/60061/pedicetamol-plyn/apteki Panadol: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/59171/panadol-dla-dzieci-zawiesina/apteki Apap for children Forte: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/93835/apap-dla-dzieci-forte-zawiesina/apteki Expectorant syrup is recommended in case of difficulty with expectoration of residual Secretions. If the cough is not too intense, does not hinder the child's daily functioning, and even copes well with expectoration of secretions, there is no obligation to give syrup. If, on the other hand, the discharge remains, the cough is bothersome, you can give the child syrup to reduce the chance of prolonging the infection and complications. You did not give the age of the child, so I send a link to the whole category of wet cough syrups, from which you can choose the right one for your daughter's age: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/kaszel-mokry Let me just remind you that you can book these medicines at the pharmacy of your choice or order them with home delivery.
