Hello, a child 3 years old takes the antibiotic augumentin es 600 mg + 42.9 mg / 5 ml. The second doctor ordered to extend the antibiotic to 10 days and wrote a prescription (because the first bottle would not last for 10 days, only 7, as the first doctor had written). But on the second prescription is augumentin mff 400 mg + 57 mg / 5ml. Can I give my child an antibiotic of a different concentration for these 3 days?

In this case, consultation with a doctor who prolongs antibiotic therapy is necessary. Only he will answer the question whether a lower concentration of antibiotics was deliberately prescribed and whether the recommended dosage is also intentional.
