Can acute vomiting and stomach discomfort before taking the contraceptive pill affect its effectiveness?

Do acute vomiting and stomach discomfort in general BEFORE taking the contraceptive pill compromise its effectiveness? Yesterday I had poisoning and spent the whole day in the toilet. However, in the evening, when I went to bed and drank the pill before, I did not vomit anymore. In such a situation, will everything be absorbed correctly?

In the event that an episode of vomiting or diarrhoea no longer occurred after taking the contraceptive pill, the effect of the pill should be normal and therefore contraceptive protection has been maintained. More information on the correct use of contraception can be read at the following link: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje
