Does activated charcoal given 2 hours apart from contraceptive pills affect their effectiveness?
On Thursday, I took a vines pill at 7 p.m., and around 9 p.m. I took activated charcoal. I read on the Internet that activated charcoal can reduce the effect of the contraceptive pill, but only today. On Saturday I had sex with my boyfriend, ending up ejaculating inside. Today I took an escapelle pill for fear of pregnancy. Is it possible for me to be pregnant?

It is estimated that the time needed to completely absorb the components of the contraceptive pill is 1-2 hours. If activated carbon is used 2 hours after taking the tablet, there is a high probability that before the carbon was administered, the hormones contained in the contraceptive pill were absorbed. In addition, if you have taken an Escapelle tablet within 72 hours of intercourse, you are unlikely to become pregnant.
