Is there a possibility that I will get pregnant and do I have to take the pill the day after?

Hello. I have a period, i.e. the end and I made love to my husband. He came within me. Is there any hope that I will get pregnant? Do I have to take the pill the day after? I already have a prescription. Tomorrow I wanted to brac. I am 4 msc after the birth of a child. Does this increase any risk of pregnancy being?

Unprotected sexual intercourse ending in ejaculation in the vagina can lead to pregnancy, the risk increases with closeness to the day of ovulation. I do not know if the end of the period can be fertile for you - it depends on the length of the cycle, and the one shortly after giving birth may not be regular yet (although there is no information about it in your entry, so this is just a guess). At the same time, since the calculation of fertile days solely on the basis of the "calendar" is deceptive, the "tablet after" can be taken on any day of the cycle to avoid unwanted fertilization. If, after the birth of the child, your menstruation has already returned, it means that fertility has also returned. The "risk" of getting pregnant is therefore no longer directly connected to childbirth and the fact that you have a baby. If you do not want to get pregnant again now, you should always use an effective method of contraception. I don't quite understand the intention of the question "Do I have to take the pill the day after?" Since you got a prescription, it seems to me that the doctor has already assessed your case, and you have decided that you do not want to risk another pregnancy at this point. Emergency contraception is all the more effective the sooner unprotected intercourse is used.
