If I removed the contraceptive disc after 4 weeks and immediately applied a new one, is the protection preserved?

I pulled out the nuvaring disc after 4 weeks of use, and immediately applied a new one without a 7-day break. Has the contraceptive effect been preserved? After 3 weeks I pulled it out and there was withdrawal bleeding, but more scanty than before.

If you pulled out the disc after 4 weeks and immediately started using another one - you did the right thing and the protection was preserved. The fact that after this second disc the withdrawal bleeding was more scant than before does not matter. There is no need to worry.
