Drugs with diazepam are available only on prescription, so their use should be decided by a doctor. The drug can be taken in patients with known anxiety neurosis and panic attacks. Treatment usually lasts from 8 to 12 weeks and should be carried out in consultation with a psychiatrist. Therefore, a visit to a specialist seems to be necessary.
