How long can I take Metoclopramide?

Hi I started recently taking this anxiety for reflux because other new drugs I could not take I felt poisoned. I have some other inflammations. Unfortunately, the doctor did not say how long I would take these fears? Maybe a little hint. I now take 1/2 half of 5mg three times a day. Best regards
