Hi I have been using the drug zoloft for 3 weeks at a dose of 25 mg unfortunately I do not see an improvement in my condition In general, I only have a feeling of increased anxiety After what time should the drug start working? I have to eventually switch to a dose of 50 mg. Can the lack of effect be the result of too low a dose? C

When using Zoloft, the first effects of action are usually visible after 7 days of regular use of the drug, after this time the concentration of the drug in the body is stabilized. The full effect of the action is usually observed after 2-4 weeks of regular use. The lack of improvement in health during treatment with the drug may have a different background. It may result, for example, from an inappropriate dose or an individual lack of reaction of a given organism to the drug. The assessment of why Zoloft therapy does not bring an effect must be made by the attending physician.
