Which of the drugs - sertraline or paroxetine - has a better sedative effect? Which can cause a greater increase in body weight?

Paroxinor contains paroxetine, which belongs to the same group of medicines as sertraline. Both drugs are indicated for the treatment of anxiety disorders and both show similar levels of efficacy and safety in patients. Literature data indicate a slight predominance of sertraline in terms of tolerability in patients, with fewer study participants discontinuing treatment with sertraline than with paroxetine. Weight gain may occur during long-term use of both drugs, however, literature data indicate that this effect is more pronounced in patients using paroxetine. Below I attach sources of information.
