How long can I take Helicid?
HELLO. MY STOMACH HURTS. THE ABDOMINAL ULTRASOUND DID NOT SHOW ANY ABNORMALITIES SO THE DOCTOR SUSPECTS ULCERS. HE PRESCRIBED ME A HELICICIDE AND TOLD ME TO TAKE THE WHOLE PACKAGE, WHICH IS 30 TABLETS. AFTER THE MEDICATION, THE PAIN PASSED. HOWEVER, 4 MONTHS HAVE PASSED SINCE THE TREATMENT AND THE PAIN HAS RETURNED AGAIN. MY QUESTION IS HOW LONG CAN I TAKE HELICID? IS THERE A TIME LIMIT? THE DOCTOR TOLD MY FRIEND TO TAKE IT FOR A YEAR, WHICH SURPRISED ME VERY MUCH. PLEASE HELP.
