What do brown spotting mean when using Ginoring?
Good morning, I have been using Ginoring for over a year. I put on a new one on August 8, and I've been bleeding/spotting for a week. What could this mean?

Brown spotting may be an adverse effect of contraceptive discs. If you have used the discs correctly, spotting/bleeding has no effect on the effectiveness of contraception and is usually not a cause for concern. If so far (more than a year) of use such spotting has not occurred, it is worth going to the gynecologist and performing preventive examinations to exclude non-hormonal causes.
