Nebilet contains a substance from the group of beta-blockers - nebivolol. It is a substance that, when used regularly, causes a decrease in the frequency of the heart rhythm and the strength of its contraction and a decrease in blood pressure. Co-Prestarium, on the other hand, is a two-component drug containing amlodipine and perindopril. These are substances from other groups of drugs, with a different mechanism of action both from each other and from Nebilet. They affect a number of mechanisms of the circulatory system, resulting in a decrease in blood pressure, a beneficial effect on blood vessels in the context of protection against atherosclerosis and a reduction in shortness of breath and chest pain accompanying angina. Patients with a high cardiovascular burden most often receive on the medical prescription more than one drug "for hypertension". This does not mean that they are to be used interchangeably, but most often it is the combined therapy that gives the best results. This is evident given the various effects of the above-mentioned drugs.
