I have a question. This month I took hascovir tablets to minimize the risk of herpes. On 12.08 I started taking the antibiotic klacid additionally, on 19 I finished taking it. I started taking a break in contraception on 17.08, today we have 22 and the weaning did not happen. Could the antibiotic have affected the absence of bleeding? Is there reason to worry? I will add that I did not have intercourse either during or after taking the antibiotic.

Yes, an antibiotic can affect the effectiveness of contraception, with the consequence that withdrawal bleeding may be delayed. If you have not had intercourse while using the antibiotic and you will not have intercourse or you will use additional protection in the form of a condom for 7 days after the end of antibiotic therapy - a one-time absence of withdrawal bleeding should not worry. Perhaps bleeding will occur, for example, during the use of active tablets from the next blister. If bleeding also does not occur in two consecutive cycles, then it is worth consulting a gynecologist.
