Good morning, on August 6 I got my period and that day I glued the first contraceptive plate, since then, I have been constantly bleeding sometimes more abundant, sometimes less, but they are every day. This worries me, because 15 days have passed since the patch was applied, and the bleeding does not stop. What should I do?

Prolonged bleeding and spotting are common side effects, especially during the first months of using contraceptive patches. They do not affect the effectiveness of contraception and are usually not a cause for concern. The body needs time to "adapt" to hormonal changes occurring under the influence of hormones contained in contraceptive patches. This period usually lasts about 3 months. If after this time the bleeding disorder does not go away, you can go to your gynecologist and change the method of contraception.
