Can I be pregnant if 6 days after the beta-hCG ratio is 5 mIU/ml?

Hi, if I did a beta hcg test 6 days after intercourse is it possible that I can be pregnant if the result is 5? According to the standards adopted by the laboratory, I am not pregnant, but I do not know why the result is so high..?

Performing a beta-hCG determination on the 6th day after intercourse may be a test performed too early. At the earliest, the determination should be made at least 6 days after fertilization. Fertilization, on the other hand, can occur up to 72 hours after intercourse (under favorable conditions up to 5 days after intercourse). In order to exclude or confirm pregnancy, the determination should be repeated in a few to several days. As of today, the result of the determination of 5 mIU / ml is the result within the limits of the norm for non-pregnant women.
