I'm afraid of the side effects of the drug Bioxetin - is it a good idea to start treatment 1.5 months before defending the work?

I was prescribed Bioxetin, but I am afraid to take it due to the numerous side effects. I have a month and a half to defend my master's thesis and I do not know if starting treatment now will not be a shot in the knee.

Side effects listed in the leaflet may occur, but do not have to. Before you observe the full action of Bioxetin, it will take some time (usually 2-3 weeks). Similarly - after stopping taking this drug, the active substances may be present in the body for up to several weeks. I do not know the history of your treatment or the reasons why the doctor decided to implement this drug at this very moment - for this reason, I can not assess whether you can refrain from starting the treatment or not. It is also worth considering whether the current well-being and state of health allow you to work hard and prepare for defense (without pharmacological support). Perhaps you should discuss this topic in more detail with your doctor. https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/12093/bioxetin-tabletki/ulotka/21987 I send a link to the article, you may be interested in: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/choroby-psychiczne-i-zaburzenia-psychologiczne
