For @Joanna: There are no data to support safety with long-term use of Doloxib. It was also not described that the drug caused weakness of the body - nevertheless, these data concerned the short-term use of the drug. Perhaps in the first place it is worth consulting a doctor whether the treatment of diabetes is carried out correctly. It is also worth considering changing the painkiller.
Hello. In June 2021, I underwent arthroscopy of the right shoulder. Since January 2021, I have been experiencing severe pain in my right shoulder. The orthopedic doctor prescribed me Dolloxib 30mg. I have been taking it for a long time,1 tablet per night. Recently, I noticed total fatigue of the body, a decrease in muscle tone and chest pains. The examination of the heart showed that everything with it is ok In addition, I am diabetic with over 30 years of experience on insulin therapy, that 4 punctures a day and I am 45 years old. I wonder if it is from this drug. I will be grateful for your reply.

The risk of cardiovascular complications associated with etoricoxib may increase with dose and duration of treatment, therefore the medicinal product should be used as briefly as possible at the lowest effective daily dose. The duration of therapy depends on the condition, e.g. in the case of acute pain syndromes, etoricoxib should only be used during the period of occurrence of acute pain symptoms. In gout - usually treatment lasts about 8 days (dose 120 mg once a day). Pain after dental procedure - 90 mg once a day for 3 days.
