Hello, I took the antibiotic twice during this month: ospen 1000 (5 days) and amylan (7 days). I'm second month on birth control pills (yaz). Is it possible that bleeding may be delayed? Does it have to occur within four days of placebo tablets? Thanks in advance for your reply!

Delayed bleeding may be related to the antibiotics you take, as they interact with Yaz contraceptive pills. Both Amylan and Ospen contain penicillin, a group of antibiotics for which it is recommended to use additional, mechanical protection against pregnancy (e.g. condoms) during treatment and additionally 7 days after the end of taking antibiotics. First of all, I recommend taking a pregnancy test if there was no additional contraceptive protection.
