Is it possible to take 30 mg of Mozarin per day?
Is it possible to take mozarin 30 mg? The psychiatrist increased my dose from 20 mg. The leaflet states that 20 is the maximum dose. Isn't 30 a mistake? Is it safe?

In case of doubt, it is worth consulting your doctor again and asking. Your doctor, based on your knowledge, may recommend the use of the medicine in a different way than what the package leaflet says. This is the so-called "off-label" treatment, which we wrote more about here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/leczenie-off-label-poza-wskazaniami Studies on the use of higher doses (up to 50 mg) of escitalopram (the active ingredient of the drug Mozarin) were carried out and no significant safety problems were identified. In some cases, side effects such as headache, nausea and diarrhea increased.
