Good morning, the drug Etruzil contains in its composition a substance called letrozole. It is a drug with a different mechanism of action than the clostilbegyt (clomiphene citrate) you used earlier. The first indication for the use of Etruzil is breast cancer, however, in recent times it has been shown to be highly effective in the treatment of infertility. Letrozole causes a transient estrogen deficiency, thereby increasing the secretion of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) by the pituitary gland, and such a condition leads to the development of a follicle in the ovary. In addition, Etruzil, unlike Clostilbegyt, does not block estrogen receptors in the endometrium, so it does not reduce the chance of implantation. There are studies that show that letrozole treatment is more effective than the use of clomiphene citrate. The risk of a multi-fetal pregnancy is also lower after stimulation of ovulation with letrozole compared to clomiphene citrate. Bearing in mind the above information, yes Etruzil is an effective drug in the treatment of infertility. Of course, each patient responds to infertility treatment therapy individually, hence we can never talk about 100% effectiveness.
