I take tritace 10 combined with hydrochlorotihiazidum. Today, the urologist prescribed me zoxon. In the leaflet I read that it treats hypertension on its own. What to do? Can I combine it?

There are some interactions between the drugs included in the question. The combined use of these medicines may be therapeutically beneficial, but the patient should be closely monitored for signs of toxicity during the use of the combination. These drugs should be used very carefully under strict medical supervision. With the simultaneous use of alpha-blockers (here: Zoxon) and ACE inhibitors (here: Tritace), there is an increased risk of hypotensive effects of the first dose. Sharp pressure drops were noted, e.g. dizziness, fainting. The patient's blood pressure should be monitored during the combined use of these medicines. Zoxon therapy should be started with small doses of Zoxon, taking the first dose before bedtime. In order to avoid such situations in the future, I encourage you to inform the attending physician about all the drugs and dietary supplements used, which will allow you to choose a safe and effective pharmacotherapy.
