For @Magda: Due to the irritating effect of alcohol on the mucosa, e.g. stomach, alcohol should not be consumed during treatment with meloxicam preparations (e.g. Opokan forte): https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/57431/opokan-forte-tabletki/ulotka/120078 More about the interaction of alcohol with meloxicam we described in the opinion: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/opinie-i-pytania/66612/mel-dzien-dobry-czy-moge-pic-wino-zazywajac-lek-meldziekuje-za-odp

To @Magda: There is no data that prohibits alcohol consumption during treatment with Mydocalm. However, it is worth being careful and consuming moderate amounts of alcohol during therapy. So I can drink e.g. 2 beers during treatment or wait until the last tablet? If so, how many hours to wait?

According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, Mydocalm Forte and Myditin do not cause kidney damage. However, these are drugs removed from the body by the kidneys, therefore, in patients with impaired renal function, an individual gradual increase in dose is recommended, combined with close monitoring of the patient's condition and renal function. If you do not have a known disease or kidney failure, you can safely use the prescribed therapy. According to current medical literature, no direct effect of alcohol on the effectiveness and safety of the drugs mentioned in the question has been demonstrated. Moderate alcohol consumption after treatment is considered relatively safe. You can read more about combining drugs with alcohol in the text: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-mozna-laczyc-leki-z-alkoholem If, despite everything, you are concerned about the effects of the prescribed drugs, it is best to talk about this topic with the attending physician familiar with your state of health in detail.
