Is the absence of withdrawal bleeding in the first months of using Drovelis a cause for concern?

Good morning. I was just starting my adventure with hormonal contraception taking drovelis. During this month I had spotting but when I contacted the doctor he replied that everything is ok and it is normal because the body has to get used to it. Today I already take 2 tablets of placebo at the first tablet I had brown spotting and that's the end of it ... still no period.do I have reasons to worry?

According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, irregular bleeding or spotting may occur during the first months of taking Drovelis and this is not a cause for concern. If the preparation was used correctly, the risk of becoming pregnant is small. In a situation where the absence of withdrawal bleeding or irregular cycles persist for a longer time (over 3 months), you should contact a gynecologist to find the cause of the problem or potential modification of therapy.
