No, eating 700 g of cherries will not reduce the effectiveness of the contraceptive disc. In order for the effectiveness of the disc to be weakened, you would have to take more than 1000 mg of vitamin C per day. In 700 g of cherries, the vitamin C content is about 70 mg.
