Is a rash during Izotek treatment possible? Is it necessary to discontinue the drug?
Is it possible to have a rash on the hands during treatment with Izotek? It does not itch, does not burn. Treat it as a side effect or is it an indication to discontinue the drug? I use sunscreen, I have not changed my diet, cosmetics, etc. recently

Rash is a fairly common side effect of Izotek, which is unlikely to pose a real threat to the health or life of the patient, so it is not a reason to stop the treatment. It may pass with the time of taking the drug. At the next visit to the dermatologist, it is worth reporting its occurrence. Reporting side effects to your doctor or individually allows you to gather more information about the safety of your medications and update data about them, which can help other patients in the future.
